The Second Circuit Redbook containing judicial biographies, court
contact information and a membership directory. (Sustaining
members are identified in boldface in the membership directory.) The Second Circuit Redbook is published every other year and a supplement in the intervening year. The
next edition will be published in the Fall 2005.
The Federal Bar Council News contains useful information on newly appointed judges and practice and
procedure developments, as well as news and commentary.
Free access to Continuing Legal Education programs. These programs are usually conducted at the Daniel Patrick Moynihan United States Courthouse, 500 Pearl Street. The Federal Bar Council is an accredited provider of Continuing
Legal Education in New York.
Access to other Federal Bar Council events: Members will receive
invitations to the Judges Reception, the Thanksgiving Luncheon and the
Law Day Dinner. Members also receive information on the annual
Winter Bench & Bar Conference and Fall Bench & Bar Retreat.
From time to time, the Federal Bar Foundation publishes works of
historical importance such as The Remarkable Hands: An Affectionate
Portrait, Glimpses of Walter Mansfield and Edward Weinfeld: A Judicious
Life. These works have been distributed without charge to our
members.
